WINGNUTS HOMECUT DONUT
The Homecut or Old Fashioned Donut is just about as basic as you can get with a donut. This cake donut has no extra toppings or fillings. Just good fried donut dough like you could make at home, if you had the recipe. Wingnuts Homecut Donut still has plenty of flavor for a "plain" donut.
This is the type of donut you can dunk into your coffee or add toppings if you choose to. This is a "tabula rasa" or blank slate donut.
It is nice to think about all the things you could do to add to this donut, but I think I like it just as it is!

Monday, August 23rd is the birthday of my good friend and co-worker at BRF(http://www.bethanyresortfurnishings.com/), Kevin Cromer. Kevin is a homecut kind of guy! He doesn't need all the extra toppings, with him, what you see is what you get! And that's a good thing!
