Got a surprise on my desk at Bethany Resort Furnishings(www.bethanyresortfurnishings.com) yesterday afternoon. This WaWa Vanilla Iced Cruller magically appeared sometime after lunch. After a little investigating, I found out my friend and co-worker, Rachel, had spotted this little beauty at the WaWa at 774 Garfield Parkway in Bethany(302-537-2663). The donuts just fly out of this busy WaWa near the beach! A cruller is not like any other donut. The name comes from the French word "crulle"- to curl, and these donuts have all those little curls to hold the glaze and, in this case, vanilla icing. YUM! Find your local WaWa at www.wawa.com.Little Miss Rachel is the person that makes the sales floor look good at BRF, and she does an awesome job! She came back to the area after spending several years working for the Sight & Sound Theater(http://www.sight-sound.com/) in Lancaster, Pa(www.cityoflancasterpa.com) and we are lucky to have her at BRF.
