Krispy Kreme Donuts and Cheerwine soda together?!!
Krispy Kreme donuts were born in Winston Salem, NC(www.cityofws.org) in 1937 and Cheerwine cherry soda was born in Salisbury, NC(www.salisburync.gov) in 1917. These are two things you never want to miss when traveling in North Carolina.
If you have never had a Krispy Kreme donut, stop reading right now and run- do not walk- to your local grocery store or, if you are lucky, your local Krispy Kreme Donut Shop(www.krispykreme.com) and try a hot fresh one! Cheerwine(www.itsasoftdrink.com) is the extra-carbonated sweet cherry soft drink that is second only to "sweet tea" in the South.
