As you know by now, I plan to celebrate all my friends, family, and co-workers birthdays this year by letting them pick the donut I blog about on their birthday.
Caroline is one of our more recent additions to the BRF family(bethanyresortfurnishings.com). She fits right in though and adds to the fun and friendly atmosphere at BRF.
When I asked Caroline what she would pick as her favorite donut for this blog, she could not decide, but said she would like a tropical type of donut with chocolate and coconut. Interesting, but not something you find in the average donut shop. We are lucky to have a donut shop in this area where you can design your own donut! SWEET!
Yes, the Fractured Prune is the place to go for fresh hot made while you wait donuts that you can design yourself. I could write an entire blog about the Fractured Prune and where the name came from and I probably will before this year is done, but this is Caroline's day.

To honor Caroline on her birthday, I designed the... wait for it
The Sweet Caroline by Fractured Prune and Keith Nichols. This fresh and hot donut, because that is the only way they make them, is the standard cake donut with a banana glaze, chocolate chips, and just the right amount of shredded coconut. We love it!! Melts in your mouth and occasionally on your face! My local Salisbury Fractured Prune is at 1303 S. Salisbury Blvd across from Salisbury University(410-546-9899).
